Review Title: An excellent candidate for a Grail pen

First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to the Appelboom team for their excellent, attentive, customer-oriented service. I especially noticed the gift wrapping and neat, careful packaging in which the pen was placed.

As for the roller pen itself, it clearly showcases excellent Italian quality—elegant, rare materials and a warm antique bronze tone. The roller glides extremely smoothly over the paper. The pen itself has a pleasant weight in the hand. The body feels warm to the touch, with a silky texture.

This is a very unusual and beautiful pen. It’s definitely worth its money! Right now, it’s the best and my favorite pen in my collection.

It may be the best rollerball available. Superior to other RBs I've bought and used. Ditto for the refills.

Review Title: Extremely pleased with my purchase

Appelboom service on this pen order was superior. I was kept up to date on progress, and the pen arrived to me in the U.S. in one week. The pen itself is all I hoped it would be. I like the rollerball option for this basaltic lava material, as I don't run the risk of discoloring the pen when dipping in fountain pen ink. The pen has a smooth, solid feel, nice heft but not heavy, and is simply unique among my pen collection. I love it so far!
