Appelboom service on this pen order was superior. I was kept up to date on progress, and the pen arrived to me in the U.S. in one week. The pen itself is all I hoped it would be. I like the rollerball option for this basaltic lava material, as I don't run the risk of discoloring the pen when dipping in fountain pen ink. The pen has a smooth, solid feel, nice heft but not heavy, and is simply unique among my pen collection. I love it so far!

This pen is amazing! Very nice quality and combination of materials. The resin/lava feels warm to the touch and firm to hold.
