This is my first Aurora pen, but I think it's great and I'm very happy with it! The pen is very expensive (though this was purchased during Black Friday sales for a great price as a "to be given at Christmas" gift) and I like my Esterbrook Sea Glass for an almost as nice experience, but I appreciate the materials and craftsmanship of the Burano very much--it is tangibly more refined than anything else I own. The body of the pen itself feels so smooth, the colors are so pretty, the filling mechanism is working fine so far, and it's a great writer. This pen came with a small bottle of purple ink. It's a nice bright purple, but maybe nothing that interesting ink-wise (in terms of shading, sheen, shimmer, etc.). Overall, thumbs up! And five starts for Appelboom as well--enjoyed my purchasing experience!

Burano of Segreto in Italia is my first Aurora pen and I must say I’m happy I gave it a try .
Beautifully colourful semi translucent auroloide, excellent in house gold Goccia M nib which is (of course I took advantage of Appelboom’s “signature” Tune & Smooth option) smooth and wet.
The pen is completely comfortable even unposted although it is smaller than I expected …
It is definitely not inexpensive pen but it offers both perfect function and stunning design. Fully recommended !
