Absolutely Stunning Pen

This pen is absolutely stunning. The spaghetti resin is amazingly chatoyant and sparkles in the light. The size and balance of the pen is perfect for my medium sized hands. I’ve been writing with it for several months now and I have no complaints. The broad nib is smooth, wet and juicy. I adore the newish flame design on the Leonardo nib which enhances the attractiveness of the pen. The only con I can see with this pen is that its beauty is distracting. I often find myself admiring the resin and nib mid writing but the little distraction always puts a smile on my face. A gorgeous writer that I would highly recommend.

If you like the body dimensions of the Pelikan M800 but you love how the nib of the nib of the Pelikan M1000 writes then this is your pen! Its spaghetti resin looks just wonderful with depth and a lot of colors. The elastic EF gold nibs is smooth and a little bit springy making writing a dream. And the ebonite feed that comes with the gold nibs of this pen gives a juicy ink flow so it’s not a dry writer but with Pelikan or Diamine ink it doesn’t take a minute to dry on the page either so it’s just perfect!

The pattern looks even better in person. I got it with a # 8 Stub nib - it is smooth, and wet with just a bit of "give" - one of my all time favorite nibs!
Highly recommend.

Meine Frau und ich haben uns jeweils diesen Füllfederhalter zu Weihnachten geschenkt.
Der Füller fuhlt sich solide an, Das Resin sieht wunderschön aus. Für mich liegt der Füller sehr gut in der Hand (grössere Männerhand).
Als einziges was ich evt. Leonardo als Verbesserung vorschlagen würde: Der Clip sieht ein bisschen klein aus an diesem Füller,
Ansonsten bin ich sehr zufrieden mit diesem Füller.

My first Leonardo

This is my first Leonardo fountain pen and I am very impressed and pleased with it. Have been looking at them for a while now but couldn't decide which one to get. Then I saw the Mosaico Hawaii and the decision was made for me. Just had to decide on the trim, and I thought the gold had a warmth that complimented the blue perfectly. Had to wait a few weeks for it as it had to be ordered from Leonardo, but I knew that, and it arrived in the advised time period. It was well worth the wait as the pen is beautiful. Ordered the fine nib, and it writes very well, and puts a decent amount of ink on the paper for a fine nib, with no hard starts or skipping. This is a large pen, but is still quite light. If there is one slight criticism about the pen, that would be that the clip looks slightly undersized for such a large pen. I guess Leonardo have one clip size for all pens. However, that does not detract from how beautiful this pen is and how well it writes.

As soon as i saw it, i knew i have to have it. I receive it as a Birthday gift, the weight is very well balance unposted (which is how i write) the nib is very smooth, i got an M and it writtes wet, The design looks better in person than it does in the pictures,
