Review Title: A marvelous pen for a reasonable price

I somehow expected this pen to be smaller, more like a Conway Stewart 58, but in fact it is full and girthy in the hand in a good way. The Prugna color is breathtaking. But the best part of all is the super smooth nib--it floats on the page. I chose the option to tune the nib before shipping, so I do not know how these nibs are straight out of the box, but Appelboom's nib tuning was exceptional and worth it. I wish that I had purchased my Montblanc 147 from them! This pen hits way above its price point. It is surely the smoothest, or at least among the smoothest, pens that I own, level with, or even superior to, my Pilot Custom 823. It is a beautiful pen. I am completely happy with my purchase and with Appelboom's tuning service.
