Review Title: Aurora Optima Auroloide Emerald Green GT Fountain pen

A beautiful pen. It shimmers with different colors depending on the amount and angle of light.
The build quality and ergonomics are perfect.
Aurora manufactures its own nibs. The one in my pen is 14k gold, M size. It has subtle patterns that match the pen.
An excellent writer, both on glass-smooth paper like Rhodia and on more textured one like MD Paper Cotton. Assuming the Pilot Custom 823 writes smoothly and the Platinum 3776 Century with feedback, the Aurora is closer to the Platinum than to the Pilot.
Due to the color of the pen, dark green inks such as KWZ Ink Green #3 or Sailor Manyo Nagi work best with it IMHO.
If anyone is considering a pen in this price range, the Aurora should definitely be on their list.
Would I buy it again? Yes.

The fountain pen is great in terms of design, quality of workmanship and performance characteristics.
Thanks to JoostCourtesy of x I exchanged the GT 14k nib for an 18k nib, which further added to the pleasure of writing with this fantastic pen.
Last but not least: Appelboom's quality of service at the highest level!

I waited some time before I purchased this Aurora pen and do not regret purchasing this pen for both the looks and the writing quality. I purchases this with an Fine tip. Despite having a touch of feedback I would say that the writing experience has been good. When combined with the Diamine Aurora Borealis its offers a pleasurable experience

Pros:
1) The beautiful auroloid is beyond our imagination. It shows a perfect Italian craftsmanship.
2) I personally like a piston filler pen.
3) It is very easy to clean as the nib comes out with some twist, making the sections open in front of us.

Cons:
1) The nib gives me a lot of feedback and I prefer smooth. Although Aurora is few of the European seller who makes their own nib.
2) The feed and the nib are not working good for me, I returned it twice but the Applebooms customer care support works very well with me.

Moreover, if you want to buy any European pen being outside of Europe I think appleboom is your best bet as they working way ahead in case of international shipping. I personally continue to conversate with Joost Appleboom and he is a nice guy. By the way, if you need a gorgeous pen with bit feedback(like Japanese pen) but with European line variation then go for it.
