Review Title: A great nib

Appelboom is a great company to purchase from. They will go out of their way to make sure an order is suited to you. So this nib works flawless and the nib unit unscrewed just as the original in my Visconti Van Gogh. Take note of the new vs old nibs. This is for the one where the dots denotes the fine medium and broad sizes. I am deeply grateful for them and would recommend the nib and this company to all seeking to make such a transaction and investment to upgrade your pen.

Review Title: Delayed delivery

Nib should be delivered within 1-3 weeks. It took 5-6 weeks. Be aware that Rembrandt pens have 2 various nibs, bigger one with hole (older) and smaller one (newer). They are not compatible so be careful.

Review Title: buttery smoothness

I purchased two nibs: fine and medium. Both are writing buttery smooth after a little ink flow tuning. The medium nib produces pretty thin line like Waterman Carene fine nib does.

This is a perfectly fine nib - although it will take a bit a tuning. I don't mean to say it's unworkable, but it's just a little histrionic.

More importantly there is a distinction between the old (horizontal crescent) nib and the new visconti nib. Make sure you're right.
