I have the Calamity Jane ink. I really like it. It's a beautiful brown with a slightly reddish hue, which I particularly like. Like most De Atramentis inks, this one is a bit wetter and therefore has great flow properties.

Beautiful bottle, mysterious ink

My first experience with a De Atramentis ink was a success. What made me purchase it was that not only that the Latin name of the brand appealed to me, but also that De Atramentis decided to honor St. Joan of Arc (Jeanne d'Arc), who is a heroine of mine. The mysterious pearl-violet color somehow alludes to the mystery that still accompanies St. Joan, a visionary turned successful general.
