Take a Diplomat Aero and make it out of Brass and you have an excellent, nicely balanced heavy writing pen. Yes it's a stainless steel nib by default, but is the perfect steel nib. 100% recommended for those who prefer the weight,

I have a number of fountain pens, many of them metal including titanium, copper, and brass pens. This Diplomat Aero Oxyd Brass fountain pen is the best of the lot. Yes, it is a heavier pen, but it is so solid, so well made and finished, and the nib (I ordered with an F nib) is smooth and precise. The pen has a vintage feel but modern quality and attention to detail. Beautifully designed and as solid a pen as you will find. This is a gem of a pen. Highly recommended.

This Diplomat Aero Oxyd Brass fountain pen is the perfect addition in the line of the already incredible Aero series. For those who love the Aero design but like a little heftier feeling pen, this pen is in line with their steel fire version, only a bit more hefty. This is a wonderful writing instrument, especially with the #6 Jowo nib that has been absolutely flawless from Diplomat over the years.
With the weight being what it is, it may not be suited for posting the pen while writing, since it will back-weight the pen (silimar to the steel version).
The Oxyd brass technique used on this pen gives it a brilliant vintage look to it overall.
