I purchased this pen and used the tune service from Appelboom. The pen writes so well. It is substantial in weight and size, but is still a pleasure to write with for a longer session. The pen is just stunning to look at. It’s very unique. If you don’t like positive comments about your pens, don’t buy. People literally just stare at its beauty and craftsmanship. I highly recommend this pen and all of my buying experiences from Appelboom.

This pen is utterly gorgeous. When I opened the box, my eyes were momentarily transfixed. The combination of subtle shimmering blue lying beneath a lattice of rose gold plating is, well for me at least, stunning. I am not one to sit back and admire things for long though. It needed to be felt and used. There's no escaping the weight, but the simplicity of filling, the smooth glide of the nib across fine writing paper, is like the tip of your finger sliding along a piece of silk. This pen has transitioned seamlessly into one of my now three regular journal fountain pens. I love it. I must also add that the experience of purchasing this pen from Appelboom has been a pleasure, though possibly enhanced through shared emotional pain of World Cup team exits! Thank you, Appelboom.
