This is a nice accessory that allows you to fill most of your pens (Piston, Vacuum fillers and Converters (piston style) providing you with enough ink for a few days. And it fits inisde a pen case.
I think it is useful, safe and well built.
very useful and easy to use, a great solution to keep some ink on hand while travelling, works with most pen sizes (only converter and piston fillers).
I bought this gadget to fill my Visconti HS. And it`s true that with it one can easily fill HS not symbolically but full.
Also, I`d like to thank appelboom.com for its great assortment let consumer buy quite not common to vest majority accessories.
I bought this inkwell primarily to help filling my brand new Visconti Opera Gold, especially when travelling, where I do not want to bring a fragile and heavy glass ink bottle.
I can recommend this inkwell. It is lightweight, elegant, and very easy to operate, incl. cleaning if you want to change ink color. I have also tried it with some other pens, for example MB146, Pelikan M800 and Lamy 2000 - no problems with either.
Works well and as described. I was having trouble getting more than a few pages out of my new Visconti Homo Sapiens when filling directly out of a bottle. This Inkwell has solved the issue and as a bonus, makes filling the pen cleaner, with less ink getting on the section. The fact that that this inkwell is required for a full fill when other vacuum fillers like the Pilot Custom 823 can do just fine straight from the bottle is another discussion however.
