The Herbin Essentials inks are my go-to collection of inks. The Vert Amazone is a great green ink. It flows beautifully and behaves extremely well on Tomoe River paper: no feathering, no bleed-through. On light application with a modest ink-flow pen like a TWSBI, the color is a bright true green. When applied with more ink flow, it is a beautiful dark olive color, great for regular writing. I highly recommend this ink. Great price at Appelboom.

Review Title: Best Green Colour

After looking a lot of green hues inks, I think this is a nice colour, I like to wait a few days before making a decision about the colour, this green is very rich and true green.,
Dries fast, the flow in a Kaweco M nib flows good, feathering in a 80gr. paper is not noticeable.
Would I purchase again?, YES!
My first order in Appelboom, very satisfied with the service, the ink bottles very well wrapped and a nice little surprises in the box (Waffles biscuits).

Review Title: Vert Amazone is an amazing Green Ink

I am the person who likes the Green ink which has the similar shade of green to the Montblanc Irish Green. This Jacques Herbin Vert Amazone falls into that category. Jacques Herbin Vert Amazone is a bit darker than both Montblanc Irish Green and JHerbin Lierre Sauvage. On the other hand, it is a very well-behave green. When I use it with Pelikan M800, F or M nib, the result and is beyond amazing, the writing experience is smooth, wet and it has the DNA of JHerbin family ink. I would highly recommend this Made in France product to anyone who likes the Green ink for both Business and Everyday journal writing.
