Review Title: Unique

This pen is smaller than I expected. I opted for the goccia nib. It is so smooth that I would call it slippery. It almost writes like a felt pen. It is certainly is a unique pen that encourages me to write differently from any other fountain pen I own.

Classic looking pen with ink window. Auroras nib's are great and I have a pleasant experience with OM nib. Without any pressure my writhing are very smoothly and though with line variation. I enjoyed my Aurora 88.

Aurora - Göttin der Morgenröte - ist eine Diva! Am Anfang musste ich sie zuerst erobern. Ein sehr dünnes Strichlein, zuverlässig, aber so akribisch dünn im Strich, dass sie schonungslos die Schwächen meiner Handschrift offenbarte. Im zweiten Anlauf aber machte das Schreiben immer mehr Spass! Der Kolben ist offenbar sehr dicht, so dass man ihn oben ganz wenig lösen muss, dann zeigt sich die Pracht der schönen Feder, die immer das Gefühl der Präzision vermittelt und relativ hart, aber gerecht Tinte verteilt. Die Begeisterung wächst von Tag zu Tag. Mein Grund für eine feine Feder: Schön schreiben ist einfacher mit dicken Federn, aber man kann die dünnen Schriften einfach besser lesen - mit all ihren Schwächen!

Review Title: The Gorgeus Aurora 88

After years of production and many variants, at the end of the 80s Aurora makes a 88 of great size and presence. Its ink visor and reserve receptacle are complemented by a totally vintage clip and the exquisite calligraphy with which the brand leaves its name in the lower band of the cap. All of the above in terms of body design. But you have to add a beautifully styled nib and excellent performance.

Review Title: Largest Aurora and the best

Aurora is one of the few companies left which manufactures its own nibs. For who those prefer butter smooth nibs, Aurora may not be your pen as its nibs have fair amount of feedback. Despite everything, this gives a wonderful writing experience and its a privilege to write with it, Grab one from Appelboom if you love Fountain pens.
