Ik was voor mijn Twsbi Diamond 580 ALR in Prussian Blue op zoek naar een bijpassende inkt en kwam via een video op YouTube bij Robert Oster Tranquility uit. En daar heb ik nog geen spijt van gehad. De inkt is prachtig van kleur, vloeit goed en schrijft zo lekker dat ik hem inmiddels in drie pennen heb zitten. Ik ga zeker eerst bij Robert Oster kijken als ik nog een kleur nodig heb.
I've never been disappointed with Robert Oster's ink. The colours are beautiful, they don't fade over time. Whenever I look for a specific shade, I first check Robert Oster and usually I find exactly what I need. Most of the colours I own are rather on the wet side but not too wet, so writing is a pleasure. My favourite colour is definitely Evening Sapphire. It dethroned Shin-Kai as my favourite dark blue ink.
Recently I've read that this ink is slightly alkaline, so I don't use it in vintage pens with rubber sacs but it's just a precaution, I don't think it would really do any harm.
Robert Oster has become one of my favorite ink brands. Their inks work well with every pen. I own Jade and Caffe Crema from this brand, and I’m looking forward to buying more. Appelboom is also a trusted website where you can buy Robert Oster inks.
Wonderful shading with just a touch of pink sheen on the edges of a few of my letters during typical writing. Doesn’t smear like some other sheen inks. Wonderful!
Yellow Sunrise is right on the edge of what you can still call truly yellow(e.g. Herbin Bouton d'Or), but it's a bit darker while managing to not be pulled too far towards orange(e.g. Rohrer & Klingner Helianthus). It's perfectly legible under artificial lighting to my eye, unlike most yellows without lots of orange in them.
I asked Joost for help with a dark green colour, without shading, shimmer or sheen, that would be office-friendly.
He recommended this one to me, and I can say I'm very pleased with how the ink behaves. It's a beautiful colour, quite dark but not quite black. It's perfect for breaking away from the usual black, blue, and dark blue colours in the workplace.
