Review Title: Surprising nice!

If you're looking to get a Lamy but had enough of the mainstays like Safari, Studio...etc....here's something different.
It's solid metal...not sure what metal the PVD is coating....most likely a non-ferrous metal but not brass because uncapped, it weighs only 32g for a length of 4.7 inches. The pen is uniquely designed. I like the verticle guilloche lines and horizontal on the grip section. If Darth Vader had a fountain pen it would be this one...especially the all black model. The nib is Lamy's staple Z56 without the breather hole and is super smooth with noticeable bounce. Slightly wetter and wider line width for a "fine" than the other typical Z50 "fine" steel nib but not by much. The balance is nice and near the grip section area. It has very very fine cap threads. Just be gentle and cap slowly and you'll never cross thread them. With the price and it being not as popular as the rest of the Lamy lineup.....I took a chance with this model and I am loving it.
