The delivery went very swift and quick.
It's a nice, big pen, good in the hand. I like the closing system, smooth but with a click, it doesn't dry out.
The writing is not the wettest, but good overall and no skipping, unless you move extremely fast as if to provoke, which you never do in normal writing. I can live with that.
This pen I got as a gift from work at my retirement. I said I would like a fountain pen and I did not know what they would choose. Something that probably would meet up my character... Wow, it's a big pen! And I am a regular guy. But it fit's fine. It is a rather dry pen (depends on ink of course). The nib inlay is beautiful. It is really a business pen, now that I do not do that anymore. :)
I wanted to buy the old Legasy, but didn't find one, so I bought this one, with the steel nib. I was surprised how nice the writing was and how the pen felt in my hand - it feels substantive and the nib is gliding nicely on the page.
Heavy metal pen, but an icon of design with the signature inlaid (steel) Sheaffer nib. Smooth writer in the Medium nib. Classy black laquer & chrome. Much to like - more than I anticipated.
After some disappointment with build quality and performance in recently acquired models such as the Icon, this Legacy model went some way to help restore confidence in the brand’s contemporary offerings.
The medium nib is very smooth and the balance of the pen is conducive to comfortable writing
Dit was mijn eerste bestelling bij Appelboom. De service en aflevering verliepen perfect. Zeer aangenaam.
This iteration is noticeably heavier than what was produced by Sheaffer in the 20th century but this new version's overall build quality and writing experience is fantastic! Sheaffer is once again manufacturing outstanding writing instruments. Keep it up!
