This is not just a 'swatch log'...
Gorgeous book for artsy ink play & archiving on high quality paper. Only downside I've found so far is that the book doesn't lie 'open-flat', which is a bit annoying, but nonetheless a marvelous addition for every ink lover.

The book is so so lovely. I have not used it yet, but it is on my desk and I go through it almost daily. I am amazed by all the beautiful illustrations in it. Every day I discover something new.

The paper seems to be of great quality, but also a little thin for handling lots of ink. I will be cautious when I go to work with it, but what I read from other reviews (elsewhere) it will be fine.

Now I also need the other book 'Atlantis'. I already have the inks and stamps that come with both collections. It gives me reasons to use all my inks, instead of only hoarding them like some ink-dragon (I have so many that I will not run out of ink for the next few years, even when writing daily).

Back to the book >> just buy it! It is pretty. It is useful. You won't regret it, I promise!

After buying the Log of Atlantis from Appelboom, I decided to get this ink log book to add to my collection.

This is just as beautiful as the Log of Atlantis. I honestly think I love this one more.

I feel like the paper in this one is very slightly different (in a good way). I feel like this one shows the ink properties just a hint better, but perhaps I am just enamored with this iteration. Really wet inks still won't do very well in this book (there will be bleed through), but overall, it is great.

Great coloring book for fountain pens

Same quality as volume 1, so I will just give the same review I left for that one :)

I love the design and look of the book. Although I've only used a few pages it seems like it holds the ink pretty well, no feathering or bleed-through. I've been looking for ages to get a coloring book that behaves well with fountain pens and this is right up my alley. Not to mention it provides a very fun and creative method to document my inks.
