Review Title: Magna Carta Mag 1000 - truly amazingly huge.

I ordered one from Appelboom and the pen arrived with its usual treat: the delightful biscuits! Excellently packaged. Inside the box the marvel was present!

I have not stopped using my new fountain pen since I laid my hands on it. The excellent service by Appelboom and the fast delivery (for a little extra) have made this an absolute joy of an experience.

The black GT material adds to yesteryear memories the tube is beautiful and the pen fits perfectly in my hands. The only misgiving is the converter that is two small for the feed and the nib. The fountain pen wrote straight off the box without any skipping at all) but long writing sessions require systematic pit stops for ink refuelling.

I am currently in the honeymoon period with this fountain pen so I do not mind the pit stops.

An excellent experience with Appelboom adding to the joy.
