It is a Beautiful pen , I love the color of the material , the pinton filler works very well, and it has smooth write with the Leonardo New Nib, is was a very nice buy option Leonardo has stunnig pens with a right Cost.
I loved my first Leonardo Zero Grande 2.0 I came back for a second. The design and artistry of this pen ( Baobab) is outstanding, I absolutely love the colours in the resin, beautiful greens and teals offset against flashes of lime green/acid yellow, it’s just beautiful. Thanks to the team at Appelboom it arrived beautifully packaged and gift wrapped, it is like Christmas arrives with the parcel, especially when some delicious stroopwaffels are included ( to which I am now addicted) thanks everyone for the great selection and service.
I'm new to the Leonardo brand, but liking what I see with this green MZG-2.0 Baobab speghetti acrylic. Very classy & stylish. The pretty 1.5 stub steel nib has a sweet spot, but makes me write like a rock star! A bargain with 20% off in Appelboom's Fountain Pen Day sale. What's not to like?
Next to Delta, this was the pen recently purchased. I like bigger size pens, and this size I like really. The nib is smooth like butter, a dream to write with and juicy, so not all the paper will fit to it. I ordered Fine Nib, compare to other fine, for me broader than usual, so when you order, probably Extra fine is close to Lamy/Delta fine.
But the look is very beautiful, when you turn the pen and the colour are changing, it worth to spend some minutes, just turning and looking how the colour is changing. I am sure, this is not my first and last Leonardo pen.
I have had this pen for a few months, with a stub nib. It gives beautiful line variation, fills easily and writes smoothly. It is not fond of glitter inks, though that is no surprise, and if left unused may need coaxing to get the feed reestablished but other than these tiny drawbacks, it a beautiful pen, I would argue the resin is more beautiful in real life than on the internet.
The resin is deep and luscious, like jungle foliage. The nib is smooth and juicy. It's beautifully balanced and just great as an everyday pen or for special occasions.
Well, I have few Leonardo pens and I like their 14k gold fine flex nib, It's a pleasure to write with - a soft nib and not scratchy, But the Baobab is also breathtakingly beautiful, and the new section of the MZG 2.0 is better. A bit wider, but not too much, and good for a lengthy writing.
This is such a smooth pen to write with. I got the Steel medium nib and it's one of the nicest and smoothest nibs I own - even beating some more expensive gold nibs. Besides the writing quality my other favourite bits about the pen are the hidden underneath the cap ink window, which has to be one of the nicest design I've seen, and the Baobab resin, which is really pleasant and the variety in the resin really makes my pen feel like ' my pen'. I'm very happy I got this.
