My third Leonardo pen.
I wasn’t sure that i would like the size , this being my first « Grande ».
No problem at all. The nib (EF) writes well : no hard starts, no skipping, no dryness. It’s only a steel nib but it’s a JOWO one so pretty reliable. As for the pen in itself, it’s simply gorgeous. Lots of depth and brightnes too !
A splendid pen, one that only italians can make.
By the way : as always, fine and quick service from Appelboom !

This is a really nice design. It’s both understated and detailed, and the effect is quite Art Deco. MZ Grande is a nice pen, as everyone k owns.

Review Title: Excellent As Always

I received this absolutely beautiful pen and inked it immediately. As with all my Leonardo purchases, this one did not disappoint. I did notice they are not using ebonite feeds on the Grande models anymore unless you purchase a gold nib. Not a dealbreaker for me. The writing experience is still pretty spectacular. This one is a bit dry compared to other Grande models, but still a great writer. Awesome customer service from the team at Appelboom!!! Will continue to be a longtime customer!
