The design is marvelous. The machinist work is perfect: everything fits into place so smoothly, it's impressive.
The protusion on the section may seem weird, but it is non obstrusive (for me). It's a bit like the Pilot Capless.
The fountain pen is heavy (a caracteristic, not a criticism). I have a fine steel nib and it work perfectly.
Yes, the clip is not very functional (but who cares?.
Very comfortable for long writing sessions. I tested it extensively.
I love Pininfarina!
Typical of Pininfarina, much stylistic uniqueness. Well made and writes smoothly. Quirks: can’t see ink in converter when filling; the nib moves out of alignment when installing the screw in converter; impractical clip design with only 1mm gap when raised; the nib surface shows ink easily giving impression of ‘dirty’ nib. The pen is fat in the middle. Good weight balance.
