I am not sure if this is due to the tuning of the nib by a specialist at Appelboom or by a nibmeister at Aurora, the nib writes so perfectly that I am just in awe. Also, the tines and the feed are aligned so perfectly right out of the box that its perfection simply cannot be bested my other expensive pens in the price range of a Pelikan M1000 and Montblanc 149, which all had issues with tine alignment and other imperfections in the nib unit, which I care most because I buy pens as functional writing tools and not as a trophy collectible to admire behind a glass display. Further concerning functionality, the design of this pen is classy and nothing ostentatious at the same time. I recommend this product as well as other unique nibs that Aurora offers unlike many companies nowadays.
