Aurora Talentum Black CT - wet writer

One of the best pens you can get for the ±400 EUR mark. the M size is a very wet writer, incredibly smooth and is one that you can easily use to showcase sheen inks as it lays down great ink flow.
threads are good quality and the size /weight are just right.

I usually prefer it to the Montblanc 146

An underrated pen that should be a must-have

I bumped into this pen in a shop in Roma, but I finally decided a bit to buy it, and went for ordering it at Appelboom. I was surprised to see that Aurora is doing more advertising for the 88 or the Optimas, becuase this Talentum, is absolutely superb!
It is classy, light enough despite of being a bit girthier than the other Auroras. ALso the nib as always with Aurora, is great, smooth and feedbacky at the same time.
Of course, this is not a piston filler like many other pens of the same brands, but I really don't care. Also, the pen is well balanced, a bit longer than other Aurora pens, so perfect for my hand. If you are looking for an elegant, and a bit bigger pen from Aurora, don't hesitate; go for the Talentum. It became one of my favorite fountain pens !

I had it very short as it was meant to be a gift . What i trully loved about it was a size and feel in hand . Blimey ! Great product.

Aurora Talentum - A great value

The Aurora Talentum is a great entry point into the Aurora line up. The 14K gold nib is wonderful. It did not exhibit much feedback relative to a Platinum or Sailor gold nib. The pen is sizable with a comfortable grip section and has a compelling classic look. Very happy with this purchase and would certainly consider an Optima model in the future. Supply chain issues slowed down delivery but my inquiries were always answered promptly, as usual. Finally this pen is a great value specially in light of Appelboom’s very competitive pricing combined with good service.

This Aurora Talentum black CT Big fountain pen is what I fell in love at a first glance. It took longer than I expected for the delivery due to stock shortage, but I am happy that I finally got it.

A product came in a solid original Aurora box with an ink converter and a couple of cartridges inside by FEDEX. It fits perfectly well with my hand but may be a little big for small female hands. I put a Waterman black ink, but I always wonder which ink fits best for a new pen. So far, I like this combination.

This is indeed a gorgeous pen with an excellent smoothness in writing. I can feel an excitement with its unique writing sensation, distinct from Montblanc Meisterstuck 146, Pilot Custom 836, Pelikan Souveran 600, or Waterman Exception. In fact, this pen writes accurate, not just a beautiful outlook. Honestly, this is all I can say at this point. I will be soon learning in what contexts does this pen shine, which is an ultimate joy for all pen lovers.
