Review Title: Waterman Carene GT Stub Nib unit

The Waterman Carene that was gifted to me had a medium nib and while it was pleasant to write with I wanted something a little more special. After looking at what was available I chose the stub nib and it arrived in less than a month after placing the order. In typical Appelboom style, the stroopenwaffel was a delicious accessory! The stub nib writes very smoothly and gives a nice line variation that the other nib grades do not. The Carene is a lovely pen and now has a nib to match. Thank you, Joost!

Perfect service , product as I was expecting

First, because it had to be explained to me, GT stands for Gold Tone.

The nib is great, it perfectly fits my Carène out of the box. I had no problems with skipping, baby's bottom or anything else. Works as well as the original nib.

Review Title: Carene Stub 1.1

I had to wait 2 weeks after ordering this Waterman Carene ST nib,
The initial performance was OK, but has some hard starts,
I've returned the nib to Appelboom with the request to tune it, and Anabelle did a very good job.
Now the nib writs smooth as glass and the line variation is fantastic.
The line width is very elegant and in small script the loop letters are still ledgible. This outstands the same letters made with the TWSBI VAC 700R Stub 1.1.
NIb with tuning makes the price a bit high, however, when it last, it's all worth it.
