The nib is well-made and really pretty. It was slightly misaligned upon arrival, but it's not hard to pull it out (it's friction-fit) and tweak it. Overall, I recommend this.

I am glad to get hands on replacement nibs of faber castell in Extra Fine nib. I adore this Nib of faber castell , it has incredible smoothness even though its extra fine.

Most of the faber castell fountain pen which are sold in market had either Medium or Broad. Which i do not use much.

Their loom line up is excellent and loved that fountain pen.

Appelboom provided good service and shipped accordinly. recommended.

Ik had al een M-punt op de Ambition. Die schrijft erg gemakkelijk, maar nogal nat en hij is wat dik met schetsen. Daarom een EF gehaald. Zelfs op kopiepapier schrijft hij goed, al hoor je hem wel enigzins. Naast schrijven gaat schetsen fantastisch. De lijndiktes kun je flink variëren door de druk aan te passen. Mijn inziens is dit ook beter dan een fineliner.

Kortom, een aanrader, maar wel met de kanttekening dat je voor hetzelfde geld een Loom hebt met dezelfde punt. Die je kan verwisselen. Het is dat daar geen EF punt van beschikbaar was.

I have purchased a medium and a broad one. These nibs have actually changed through the years, they have larger tips and so are considerably smoother than the older ones. The medium was now finall y smooth enough, and the broad is amazingly wet. My only problem is that there is too much difference between the two in terms of line width. The medium is too fine and I would really like to see a size between the two.

Like every other Faber-Castell steel nib I have tried, this one is a joy to use, an EF nib that is smooth and precise and just fun to write with. If my experience is anything to go by, you can't go wrong with these nib units.

Ik gebruik deze Medium penpunt in mijn Faber-Castell Loom in plaats van een Fine penpunt (die trouwens ook heel prettig schrijft). Het prettige van de Faber-Castell vulpennen is dat je de punt heel gemakkelijk eruit kunt schroeven en kunt vervangen door andere punten. Zo heb je meerdere pennen in een. De prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is prima, want de medium penpunt schrijft ontzettend soepel en prettig en is erg betrouwbaar.
