I was able to pick up this pen when Appelboom had a great discount for Fountain Pen Day. It was such an amazing discount and allowed me to finally try Scribo. The La Dotta Travertino is my first Scribo. I purchased mine in an 18k EF nib. Shipping was extremely fast. Appelboom were great at keeping me updated prior to shipping because there is a waiting period before the pen arrives to be shipped to the customer. The nib was a bit scratchy at first and I was disappointed because I’ve always only heard great things about Scribo nibs. But after writing with it consistently, for a week, it is super smooth now. The pen itself is absolutely beautiful. I’m very happy with my purchase. I’m also very happy with the excellent customer service at Appelboom. I highly recommend purchasing from them, and I know I will be back to purchase more pens. Thank you for excellent service

I love this pen, it is so beautiful. I had been thinking about it for awhile and it does not disappoint. I really love everything about it, the colors, size, and trim. My first order from Appelboom and it was a lovely experience. I will purchase from here again. Thank you!

My first Scribo, and what a beauty! I ordered the fine 14k nib which is smooth, wet, soft and springy, and gives great line variation. A nicely weighted and well-balanced pen. I love the resin, a combination of amber, reddish-coppery brown, golden brown and creamy white marble with turquoise veins through it. Gives the pen a classical look. The coppery coloured trimmings work well with the colours in the resin.

Service from Appelboom and their nib maestro was great. I always look forward to my Appelboom deliveries, pens and Stroopwafels.

I bought the Scribo Feel Mosto but since that one is completely sold out it seems I'm writing my review here. The Mosto is my second Scribo Feel and I am trying not to fall in the rabbit hole of collecting all of them. The writing experience is smooth but not smooth in a way that your pen seems to slip away from you. You get the feeling of putting ink to paper for the full 100%...hence the name 'Feel' I assume. Scribo's are not to be compared with other brands. Every detail has been taken very good care off. If you are deciding to get one...don't hesitate. You won't regret it for sure. It might very well end up being your favorite!
