I already own a fountain pen in blue and silver with otherwise exactly the same design. So I knew, what I was up for. This time, I chose an EF nib though. Otto Hutt steel nibs are usually supersmooth, also the EF ones. This one is slightly scratchy, so not entirely up to the standard that I am used to. But I hope that it will smooth out just a tiny bit when using it for a few days.

Smoothest pen / nib I've ever tried. Writing with this pen is a joy, it makes you wish you had more to write. Pictures online are good but they don't do this pen justice, they don't capture all the ways in which the light reflects on the wave design, on the rosegold metal and on the gold nib, it's gorgeous. This pen is sophisticated not only in its aesthetics but also in its technical details, ink flows very smoothly, very comfortable handling and size. Appelboom did a fantastic job with my engraving, it matches perfectly the straightforward elegance of the pen. Excellent product and excellent service, can only recommend!
