The appearance of this fountain pen is superb with the deep colour of the resin and its appearance in changing light mesmerising. The pen itself is very well balanced and I find the section very comfortable to hold. The rose gold appointments and nib finish complement the appearance. The nib I am using is the stub and writes smoothly with just the right amount of feedback. It took a while to arrive but was worth the wait
