This pen was magnificent from Day 1. The nib is smooth as silk with no troubles to modify, the piston is high capacity, the acrylic is gorgeous & the weight is balanced. The price is negligible compared to the satisfaction of the quality of pen. God bless for reading.

I have 5 Leonardo pens now 3 momento Zero Grandes, 2 momento zero regular size, and a furore grande.

First the fit and finish of these pens is outstanding. Every single one has been perfect out of the box. They are warrantied for life. The nibs both bock and jowl wrote perfectly out of the box. They are moderately wet, true to western width standards and smooth.

The marina di capri finish is captivating, deep blue to shiny light blue. It has some slight translucency but very little. The size of the grande is among my largest pens in my collection but no at all unwieldy. The pen is relatively light and comfortable to write for long sessions! I would 100% reccomend to whoever is looking for a magnificent writing experience in a beautiful italian package!

Review Title: Perfect Piston

I am a big fan of Leonardo pens. The Blue Marina Capri version has a stunning blue color that really captivates. The piston filling mechanism works perfectly. The nib is extremely smooth. This is a fountain pen that really stands out. Very pleased with this version.
