Review Title: Pelikan M800 Blue /black

I'm relatively new to fountain pens and have been buying midrange pens. I liked most of them but was ready to look for my grail pen. I purchased the Pelikan M800 and immediately fell in love with it. The quality and smoothness of writing out of the box was the best I've experienced.
Joost was great to deal with as I had a lot of questions.
I'm now saving to purchase another Pelikan pen.

Great service from Appelboom. Free nib tuning so you know that your product works perfectly straight out of the box. I am very happy with the Pelikan 805 that I purchased. A nice everyday pen that’s not too flashy. Would highly recommend.

Review Title: fabulous writer

I have a decent collection of fountain pens ranging from Pilot, Sailor, Lamy, MontBlanc's. I have this love for Pelikans which is unique. The pens run on the wetter side which makes for a smooth writing experience. If you are the person who doesn't care as much about over the top fancy bells and whistles and cares about how a pen writes, then the Pelikans are one of the best. I have the M600 and the M1000 as well the M805 sits in the middle with respect to size which is perfect for everyday writing. The pen has a very classic timeless design which I love. A lot of reviews including Figboot on youtube have described the M805 to be one of the smoothest nibs and I completely agree.
I live in the US and the pen is available at an amazing price from appelboom.com and had no issues receiving the pen. Joost has been exceptionally good with customer service and is always happy to help. Will continue to buy more pens from him

Review Title: My favourite pen

In my opinion the strong point of the pen is the nib, which provides perfect writing experience and look. Ink flow is generous. The pen is quite light and has soft touch. Check size before choosing this model.

Review Title: Pelikan M805

I love the looks of this pen, I got it with a bi-coloured nib and it looks fantastic. Had some issues with the nib being a bit scratchy, but it was immediately replaced. Excellent customer service. One thing to consider is that it is quite a big pen and if you have smaller hands, it would be better to first try it out in a shop. Another thing to keep in mind is that they are very wet writers, so an EF would effectively mean a very wet F.

M805 is very smooth pen with decent ink flow. There was no skipping or scratchiness of the nib right off the box. I'm satisfied with Appelboom's customer service and their very fast shipping.
