When I first saw the design of this Opus 88 I felt like it was made for me. I love insects. So, I did not hesitate to order it. It came in a beautiful box with magnetic closure and contained not just the pen, but also an eye dropper. Even with this being my first eye dropper pen filling it was no problem at all. I use Robert Oster Blue water ice for this pen. Getting it to write took quite some time and for the first few days it had a hard start. If I left it for a day the ink flow just stopped completely even with the knob twisted open. It turned out that the nib was not properly aligned which I corrected and now it writes beautifully. This Opus 88 is fast becoming my favorite pen and the butterflies have nothing to do with that
