This was the third Anima Nera matte black I bought. That means that I really has fallen in love with this model. I ordered it with a medium, because I think they are juicy and pleasant to write with. These three Animas Neras I now have, are my absolute favorites, and I feel very fullfilled having them in my pen pouch. The build is solid, they feel good in my hand, and they are all wonderful writing tools.

This is a beutifull pen, the piston filler systems work well, the steel nib in M size is very smooth, the satin finish is very intesting for this Leonardo Model. The size it´s perfect for me, and the grip is very nice to.
Finaly this pen is a beutiful Italian desing, For me I received a geat value for this price, Thanks a lot Appelbom

I ordered this before I knew about the new version and was surprised when it showed up! I think the new gold border on the ink window takes care of the only issue I had with the pen!

The matte black is fantastic and looks amazing with the gold accents. I got the stub nib and you wouldn't know it was steel.

The only issue I have with the pen is that the cap seems to come somewhat loose from time to time.
