This pen was recommended to my for my collection and I find it not only perfect in size for my hands and the pattern of the barrel gives a good grip, one never goes wrong with black and gold and that brings me to praise the nib. I suggest to choose the M so you get a more versatile stroke difference for the stiffer and looser end of the adjustable nib. what I love is that it is very juicy ! I used iroshizuku ink, that probably adds to the experience. As was said before, this pen has great potential in becoming a favorite. My handwriting looks smoother almost. I bought it to differentiate between headlines and text if I only have one pen with me. Will not regret it and this pen is absolutely perfect for me! A winner!
An excellent pen by Pilot. Bigger and girthier than Pilot 823 - which is a plus. The nib is super smooth and super wet - another big plus! The flex nib adjustment mechanism provided by Pilot is very smart, but make sure you buy a fine nib to be able to use it effectively. For Medium nib, it just adjusts the wetness of nib. Overall - a great pen! Kudos to Appelboom for a quick delivery and gorgeous packaging.
I have been a big fan of Pilot fountain pens. All Pilot fountain pens are excellent writers. But, Pilot Justus is different. It is an innovative nib, which can be adjusted for softness. It looks beautiful, has a great feel, and writes well. The functions to adjust nib softness works flawlessly. I highly recommend trying this pen.
This fit/finish of the Justus 95 is excellent. The guilloche pattern on the body turns an otherwise ordinary looking black pen into something special. But it is the nib that makes this pen. Being a leftie, I love the smoother, sharper, less-wet line of the hard setting. But, with a quick turn of the tension ring, a new, pleasantly springy nib appears, producing a rounder, bolder line that is great for giving emphasis to words or phrases. There is not a discernible difference in line variation between the settings, This, for me, is not a drawback.
