I was delighted by my recent opportunity to purchase the Scribo Feel Verde Bosco at Appelboom because this pen has proven very difficult to find. My favourite colour is green and the moody evergreen pearlescent resin did not disappoint! Deep shadows of spruce green and deep olive are illuminated by flashes of dusky sage, much as sunlight caresses ferns hidden deep within a forest.

While my pen was originally fit with an 18k Medium nib, I had it modified by the brilliant folks at Appelboom to an Extra Fine Cursive Italic. This is the first time I have had nib work performed on a pen, but it will not be the last!! The cursive smooth italic elevates my everyday penmanship to a new level and I could not be happier!! Thanks so much!!

I purchased the Verde Prato in June 2019, it is not available anymore. For me it is a perfect pen! I adore the model, size, weight and balance of the pen. It is extremely comfortable. I am impressed by the gorgeous smooth very wet nib, and it is an extra fine! Anabelle did a great job to make it even a more perfect writer. The enthousiasm of Joost was also a good experience. The pen is always inked and I use it every day. My copy of the pen is world famous, because it is an actor in one of the videos of Appelboom. Me proud...;-). Thank you again, Joost, for enabling me to own one of the most perfect pens on the market at the moment.

First impression was: Beautiful pen! Been writing with it for about 5 months now and really enjoy it very much. The classical yet strangely modern, somewhat 'bulbous' design is daring, but to my eyes very elegant. The finish is excellent. Holds comfortably and is great in long writing sessions. The nib is fairly wet for a fine at normal writing, feels soft/springy and has a little bit of feedback, which I enjoy. The feed has no problems to keep up when flexing; definitely a result of the ebonite feeder.
To be very critical: The only thing that would've made it perfect, is if the material used was celluloid. That said though, this resin is absolutely beautiful.

In conclusion: I'm very happy with this beautiful classical but strangely modern fountain pen; overall a wonderful writing experience and one of the best modern flex nibs I've written with. Don't expect a wet noodle though..! :)

Let me start off by saying this Fountain pen is Beautiful and I love it.
I have never used a Flex nib before and had doubt if it would be a good purchase for me. The design and lovely resin called me and I wanted it. I thought long and hard about being able to use the nib correctly. I finally concluded that I could use the nib as a regular nib and I would practice flexing the nib until I could introduce it into my writing. I've been writing without flexing the nib. I am not very good using flex yet but can see the improvement in two weeks. I am hoping to be able to use flex on my Christmas cards. The nib has good ink flow and write smooth but not buttery smooth. I am satisfied with the smoothness. I find the pen to be very comfortable in the hand for long writing sessions. I also like the pens' 20 gm weight inked which allows me to write without tiring. I am very happy with my purchase. I hope this review helps.
