I bought this pen in 2019, It's the most expensive pen that I ended up regret buying. It's a nice looking pen, but it's a terrible writing experience.

When I received it, it was unusable as a pen — false starts, skipping, ink starvation — it would't star writing or it'd stop writing after a few lines. After several adjustments, it does write, but it's still a bad experience. False starts are frequent, as are skipping. It's also stiff and scratchy. But at least it does write, which it wasn't necessarily the case when I first got it.

The first Leonardo pen I bought, and the last, Unfortunately, it contributes to the cliche of QC of Italian pens. Maybe things have changed since 2019, but my experience makes me not recommend this one. There are better options for the price.
