I have a dozen Souveräns in my collection and decided early on to feed them the ink they deserve.
The colors are truly profound and promise durable writing, even the lighter ones, like the Ruby or the Mandarin.
Because of its specific features, refill cleaning does indeed require a little more time, but deep cleaning is no trouble at all.
Reliable ink for reliable writing marvels make a perfect match indeed.
Both colors are AMAZING. I wasn't expecting it, but I think Golden Lapis may now be one of my favorite inks. The mandarin orange is a brilliant color as well. I only found out that it didn't work as well in my Pilot Vanishing Point, but that could be because the pen is dryer.
I am finding the Pelikan Edelstein ink range to be excellent.
The Topaz is a very close match to Pilot Iroshizuku Kon-Peki, and as such, is a beautiful, deep blue. It's flow is lovely, a touch drier than Pilot, but not problematically dry by any means.
Cleaning it is a touch more time consuming than some other easier blues, but by no means is too much of a pain with water alone.
I would absolutely recommend this ink.
Seen and tried this ink (Adventurine Green) at the Pelikan Hub last year and really liked the color. I trust Pelikan inks in my pens. I've never had a problem with cleaning and the inks flow really well. I really like the color. I use it in my green stripe M800.
I have a lot of different green inks in my collection but this has become my go to green. It is a lovely shade, I would it is on the darker side of a medium green. A very good saturated ink with a nice flow.
