Review Title: Classic.

I have a few Kaweco's, they are solid and good writers. I've read about the small nib and I understand that Kaweco liked to make the pen as the original at that time. But the Bock 076 fits, no problems with the cap even regarding the wider shoulders of the nib. It made the pen look much better. Appelboom send the pen well packed with a cookie for the tea. I accept cookies.

Review Title: A robust workhorse

The modern Kaweco Dia2 harks back to the Dia of the mid-century. The latter was an elegant yet robust piston-filler model that came in a range of sizes. The modern iteration is weightier because it has a brass body; its filling mechanism is now cartridge-based (if you want to use a standard converter you have to remove the spring from the barrel which will unscrew the converter each time you unscrew the barrel). The most aesthetically pleasing feature of the old and new Kaweco Dia is the knurling. The nib is exchangeable so you can easily buy other widths. As on the vintage models the nib is small (size 5) but a bit unexciting (similar to the Sport model). However, as a regular-size workhorse pen it's good value for money, particularly when it's on offer. 4 stars for the faff with the spring removal: it's an unnecessary complication and cartridge-only pens are not exactly environmentally friendly. A really solid upgrade as a gift for students.

Review Title: Fancy little pen

Very classic and elegant looking pen. It feels very nice in hand and has some weight to it. The nib could be larger in my opinion, but maybe the smaller nib gives the pen more unique appearance and writing experience.
The nib might need some adjusting like many other regular Kaweco nibs. Good thing is that you can switch the nibs on this pen effortlessly.
