Pearl Grey Celluloid and Traditional Construction

The twelve-faceted body follows the unmistakable OMAS Paragon silhouette and is crafted from Pearl Grey Celluloid 1991, produced using a process originally developed by Armando Simoni and preserved to this day. The cap is made from a single block with an internal channeling system and protective lining, while the rhodium-treated appointments include hand-finished 18K rolled gold bands engraved with the classic OMAS Greek motif and a faceted phosphor bronze clip inspired by Simoni’s late-1940s design.

Original 1943 Permanio Nib and Piston Filling

At the heart of this exceptional edition is the original OMAS PERMANIO Patent 67849 nib, manufactured in 1943 and offering an extra-flexible writing character with an approximate line width of 0.5–0.6 mm. A 6.5 mm ebonite feed supports the ink flow, while the nib holder is traditionally affixed to the barrel using tar in accordance with historic OMAS construction methods. The pen uses the traditional OMAS piston-filling system devised by Armando Simoni, with ink held directly inside the barrel without internal tubing or a modified converter.
