The Omas Bernini Roma 2000 is an exceptional and highly rare writing instrument, created to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the birth of the renowned Italian artist and architect Gian Lorenzo Bernini, as well as the transition into the third millennium.

With a worldwide production of only 100 pieces, this edition ranks among Omas’s most exclusive creations.

Design & Materials

The pen is crafted from solid 18-karat gold, complemented by refined mother-of-pearl inlays. Its distinctive 20-faceted design gives the pen a strong yet elegant appearance.

The details pay tribute to the history of Rome and Bernini’s work. The cap is topped with a blue cabochon-cut lapis lazuli, while the engravings include references to the Colosseum. The 18-karat gold nib is decorated with the Lupa Capitolina, the famous Capitoline Wolf.

Nib & Filling System

The pen features an 18-karat gold Medium nib and a traditional piston filling system. Its high-quality craftsmanship and generous ink capacity make it not only an exceptional collector’s piece, but also an excellent writing instrument.

Special Presentation

A particularly distinctive feature of this edition is its original crystal presentation shell, inspired by Bernini’s famous Fontana delle Api (Fountain of the Bees).
