Namiki Yukari Zodiac Collection Dog Fountain pen

The Namiki Yukari Zodiac collection consists of the 12 signs of the Japanese zodiac, which uses birth years, rather than the wester birth months. The maki-e artwork on the pen is built up from many layers of lacquer and takes months to create. 

The Namiki Yukari is equipped with a #10 nib and uses the cartridge/converter filling system.

At the start of the 20th century, a fountain pen utilizing the Japanese traditional art of “Maki-e” was born.
