Namiki Emperor 105th Anniversary White Rabbit 2023 LE Fountain pen

Namiki's 2023 Limited Edition Emperor is called White Rabbit. To celebrate their 105th anniversary, the Pilot Namiki group are launching the White Rabbit Emperor, made in Shishiai-Togidashi maki-e, the most complex of this ancestral art. 

Since ancient times, rabbits have been considered auspicious creatures and the craftsman decided to stage the legend of the white rabbit of Inaba and the deity Okuninushi on a background of lacquer and platinum powder.
Famous for its bravery and courage, this white rabbit's animal shell hid in reality the form of a God: a God of longevity thanks to his ability to survive amazing in the face of life's obstacles. We hope this limited edition will bring love and success into the lives of people, and our loyal collectors.

The Namiki Emperor White Rabbit is quipped with a special edition nib, dedicated to the 105th anniversary. The fantastic No. 50 18 karat gold nib is incredibly large and dwarfs the nibs on all other writing instruments. It is therefore nicknamed the ‘No. 50 Jumbo’.

Each of the 100 White Rabbit fountain pens is presented in an elegant, limited edition wooden gift box with a silk lining and a serial number plate. It is accompanied by a limited edition bottle of black ink (cap adorned with a rabbit).

This fountain pen has an eyedropper filling system. It uses the same ink stopping function as the original Namiki eyedropper pens from the 1930's, which regulates the flow and prevents leakage.
