The Orange Mountains are a mountain sub-range of the Watchung Mountains located in northern New Jersey. The name “Orange” derives from the mountain’s composition of orange basalt due to the volcanic origin of the mountain range. Discovered campsites around the territory serve as evidence that these mountains were a home to the indigenous people of Lenape, who enjoyed the mountains’ rich soil, numerous rivers and streams, a variety of forests, and plentiful fish and game. The Orange mountains region is known for marvelous views and beautiful nature that leaves visitors with a long-lasting impression.

Monteverde Orange pen is inspired by the immense beauty and grandeur of these natural monuments. The design features high-quality resin in orange, transparent and black representing the orange basalt, rich mountain volcanic soil color, and the mountain peak. Following its predecessors, the shape of the pen remains almost the same, however, the new design elements of the collection feature a matching resin endpoint with the metal ring, and a matching resin front section, which advances the look and feel of the pen.
