For the latest collaboration between Kenro Industries and Montegrappa, the Venezia line, has been reimagined with a US exclusive celluloid material. Celluloid is an incredibly versatile material that offers a polished, smooth finish. Popular at the height of the industry in the previous century, it has since become a rarer material for pens, but is nonetheless a preferred option for many enthusiasts.
That said, no one has been keeping tradition alive like Montegrappa. With its century-old practice in penmaking, the Italian brand has perfected the art of remaining a modern brand while still referring back to their archives for inspiration.

The Venezia Celluloid collection comes in four vibrant colors: Dark Blue, Pearl Grey, Glittering Blue, and Lapis Lazuli. Each colorway showcases the versatility and craft of Montegrappa’s artisans who have blended the celluloid.
The pens themselves are engraved on the ring opposite the Montegrappa logo. As this is a limited edition, production is limited to 100 units. They are equipped with an 18-carat gold #6 nib and ebonite feed, with the options ranging from EF to Broad. The pens can be used with a cartridge or converter. 

Italy's first pen producer, Montegrappa, began manufacturing pens in 1912 in its factory in Bassano del Grappa in Italy. Utilizing natural celluloid and precious metals, Montegrappa combines traditional methods such as die-casting with more recent innovations as low-relief engraving to form their precious art objects. Whether Montegrappa use colors reminiscent of the master painters or ornamentation suggestive of Baroque palaces, the Italian heritage and romance is infused into each product.
