Piston operated converter for Lamy fountain pens instead of Lamy T 10 ink cartridges. This converter is suitable for all fountain pen models of the Lamy ABC, Lamy AL-star, Lamy Joy, Lamy Nexx, Lamy Safari and Lamy Vista range.

Lamy is an independent family-owned enterprise which was established in 1930 by , former Parker employee, C. Josef Lamy in Heidelberg. The Lamy brand has existed since 1952 and proved its innovative prowess in the very first year with the completely novel Lamy 27 fountain pen series. And in 1966 the distinctive style of Lamy Design was born with the Lamy 2000.

I needed this converter for my Safari as I dislike cartridges. Using it should be straightforward if you’ve used converters before. Haven’t used it yet as I did get T10 Violet refills matching the Safari I own (and might get that Ink in bottle for this Pen)≥

Het was even kijken hoe ik de converter in de pen moest doen, omdat ik niet zo wist waar de twee 'bolletjes' aan de zijkanten van de converter moesten zitten, maar mijn eerste ingeving bleek juist te zijn.

De converter doet goed z'n werk enik heb hem zonder problemen kunnen gebruiken.

Ik heb zelf alleen LAMY vulpennen en elk hebben ze deze converter. De eerste keer is het even puzzelen hoe je hem exact gebruikt, maar daarna vind ik hem heel pretting in gebruik. Voor mij is het ook een groot voordeel dat ik niet meer zoveel afval maak van lege vullingen en door het gebruik van losse inkt nu meer keuze in kleur heb voor mijn pennen.

Al met al zeker een aanrader! Echter voor mensen die problemen hebben met fijne motoriek kan hij lastig te vullen zijn.

Il like this Z28 converter for my LAMY VISTA pens for the red. color. They are well made, they don't leak, they can be filled with a good quantity of ink. The converters enable me to use any bottled inks I will. The fountain pens are a true realm, but with a converter, the inks realm is a new territory to discover!

This is Lamy proprietary converter designed for Lamy ABC, AL-star, Joy, LX, Nexx, Safari and Vista. The different between the Z27 and Z28 are 2 notches on the converter that clicks onto to the pen.

Lamy fountain pens normally only comes with a blue cartridge, so this is a must have if you want to use bottled inks. Second time I bought these already.

Lamy Safari and Lamy Al-Star both come with a complimentary Lamy blue ink cartridge, which is cool. But if you want to unlock the world of bottled fountain pen inks, you will need this converter. Otherwise, you're limited to the inks made by Lamy, since Lamy pens uses proprietary cartridges.

But with the Z28 Converter you're able to fill any ink you want. Not to mention, iit will make your pen more environmentally friendly, since you're not using disposable plastic cartridges. The converter can be easily disassembled for cleaning, if you so desire. For the price, I think the investment is a no brainer.
