I just love the Azurite colour ink. After having used this for a while, this is now my favourite ink. The colour is amazing and a lovely mix of blue and purple and pops on the page.

Beautiful purple shade. The sheen is not as visible in writing except in very broad nibs. But the color is beautiful. However for the price and only 30ml its not the best value.

It should be a staple in every fountain pen lovers ink set. The ink is just a fun but professional ink to use, good water resistance and a office suitable colour. The ink starts as a regular blue when first laid on the paper but as it dries it darkens and become a dark greyish blue, a real nice colour. The ink is pro but with character, if you want an ink to get away from your regular black/blue for work this is it.
The bottle looks amazing though not practical.
The ink has a good flow and some nice shading specially when you flex your nib.
In finer nibs it is a paler blue but when more ink is dumped onto the page it is a dark blue grey.
It is the office ink that blends pleasure with duty.
I was not disappointed and this is a new favorite of mine.

The Lamy ink (Topaz) is one that is a beauty to write with. I pared it with Lamy al star and it a match made in heaven. There is a tiny bit of a shin to this ink - not much- but enough to make it standout. The bottle I feel is more pleasing to the eye than functional; especially as the ink volume gets down to certain height. Overall, I would highly recommend this ink. It is affordable and writes very well..
