Review Title: Beautiful pen. Not convinced about writing feeling yet

This is a beautiful looking pen. As always delivered with great service by Appelboom.

Owning multiple Caran d’Ache pens, including other fountain pens amongst others, I had high expectations. However, after using this one for a week or so, I am not yet convinced entirely of its writing comfort. Could be the ef writing tip.
Pen holds great, balance is good. But the ink just doesn’t seem to flow. Like if you have to press much harder every few lines of writing to get enough ink out of the tip end. Ink doesn’t seem to flow consistently. I not experienced this with my other fountain pens. So perhaps it’s due to the EF tip end instead of the F. Or the ink (Caran d’ache ink).
