The Keyno Stay.tionery Key No.014 Cherishment Fountain Pen is beautifully designed and feels very elegant in the hand. The nib writes smoothly and makes everyday writing a real pleasure. I really like the attention to detail and the overall quality of the pen. It is a wonderful fountain pen that I would happily recommend to anyone who enjoys writing by hand.
EF nib appears to me more like a F or FM .It wrote perfectly out of the box. including Converter.
What stood out to me immediately when I inked it for the first time was, how easy the ink went into the converter. maybe this is because of the Ebonite feed? Usually with any converters no matter which brand, I have to move the ink formard and backward and retry a few times to get a good fill. With this pen/converter it filled up perfectly straight out of the box, no tuning or cleaning before. The pen ist very good balanced for my very small hands, You can post the cap but I prefer not to. The design is in reality even more beautiful than on pictures online. Its more a creamy, soft nude or ivory tone than pink. There are also a lot of blue particles in the resin which is very beautiful. I would consider it as a very "romantic" looking design without beeing to kitschy. I would say get this when you want a pink pen in your collection but actually don't like pink so much.
The soon I heard that Dominant Industry was making this pen, I wanted it! And as always I could find it at Appelboom :-)
Everything is very detailed. From the pen till the box design, it al checks out. The nib I chose is a F(ine), but it feels more between an M and F. For me that is okay, but if you want a F, I would choose the EF, just in case.
The writing quality could be a little bit better. In my case it took me a while before I had a nice ink flow. I decided to clean the nib, because it also smelled like burned rubber (weird). After this it all worked well.
Even with what I wrote above, in my opinion you get more than wat you pay for with this pen. It is not an expensive pen (okay, not a cheap one either, hihi), but it looks like one. And they put a lot of thought in the design and the storytelling around it.
All the little keyhole details are just stunning. AND the pretty packaging!
A beautiful pen, I really like the key accents, such as the keyhole in the nib and on the cap. I ordered an F and it feels more like an M, so that's something to watch out for. Writing with it is not as smooth as with some other pens, but it isn't a big issue and I still enjoy the pen a lot.
Very beautiful pen, the details are great, the colours are very harmonious. Writes a bit stiff, but feels great in my hand unposted, very smooth grip. I should have gotten the nib tuned by Appelboom, because it's a bit misaligned.
The Dominant Industry / Stay.tionery Cherishment fountain pen is absolutely beautiful in person. The design is soft, romantic, and unique, and it feels like a very special piece visually. The overall presentation and aesthetic are lovely, especially if you enjoy delicate, collectible-looking pens.
That said, the nib on mine writes quite firm and controlled. It is smooth enough for short notes and print-style writing, but it does not suit my cursive-heavy journaling style as much as I hoped. I found it a bit too stiff for longer, flowy writing sessions.
I think this pen would be a great fit for someone who enjoys a firmer fine nib, neat printing, planner notes, or shorter writing sessions. For me personally, it is more of a beautiful collectible piece than an everyday journaling pen.
Overall, it is a gorgeous pen with a very specific writing feel. I would recommend it if you like firm, precise nibs and are drawn to the design.
Such a beautiful pen with lovely embellishments along the cap. Packaged with an accompanying key chain. Really love the fine tuning Appelboom did. The pen is incredibly smooth, wet, and the grip is comfortable. It has a satisfying weight and catch the light. I love that it came gift wrapped.
Preordered this pen as soon as I could since it's Dominant Industry's first pen and looks like something totally new and different. Wrote out of the box, no issues, unscews very quickly and ebonite feed really gives it a lovely flow for smooth writing. I think this pen is more a cream and white pen with rose gold accents... it's not really that pink at all.
This pen has been on my wish list for quite sometime and I finally got my very first Key.No fountain pen. No regrets at all! It arrived in a beautiful box, complete with a card and a keychain, alongside the gorgeous pen itself.
I adore the subtle pink shade as it pairs perfectly with the No.014 Cherishment ink (sold separately). The nib feels more like a medium than a fine, but I don’t mind at all since it writes so smoothly.
