Review Title: Got my grail pen from Appelboom

Appelboom was able to obtain this Aurora 888 Baia that sold out in the US. Since it was the last Medium nib their distributor had, I was naturally concerned that I might get a dud. However their Tune & Smooth service set my mind at ease on that point. Indeed the pen I received fulfilled my expectations in every way. It is a wet and butter smooth writer with a gorgeous depth of color. Zero regrets!

Excellent service from the Appelboom team.
Excellent craftmanship form Aurora
The colors from light blue to purple of the auroloide material are pleasant to the eye.
The beautiful 18K broad gold nib wrote perfectly out of the box.
The Baia fountain pen wrote smoothly with a touch of feedback on Midori, TR 52 - 68gsm and Bank Paper.
It is a pleasure writing with an Aurora fountain pen..

Review Title: Great pen, beautiful colors

I own this pen for some time now and it has not been uninked since I got it. I went for a broad nib because of my large handwriting. The nib is smooth with just a hint of feedback, just how I like it. To experience the beauty of this pen you have to see it for real. The dark and light blue with the purple give you the idea that you are underwater and the sun shines through it. Aurora created something special here. Would definitely recommend everyone to buy one if possible. As always great service from Appelboom.

This pen is stunning and so comfortable to hold and write with. I chose the Goccia CE nib and it’s such a great nib to write with, so smoith. It gives variation to my writing style that I would recommend give a try, Appelboom delivered great quality.

This is my favourite of the series. Lovely colours that look incredible and are iridescent in the light. I went with a stub nib and it's beautiful and wet and smooth. I've always gone for fine nibs but this has converted me to the chonkier side
