Aurora fountain pen perfectly designed. Symbol of luxury and good class. Aurora nibs are perfect. Produced in house in the factory, which is an advantage and rare today. I chose a B size nib, I write without any complaints, I write without interruption. Importantly, the nib is made of 18k gold. Both the body and the cap are made of silver finished with guilloche covered with intense red varnish. Delightful and makes an impression. The fountain pen is solid but heavy, so I do not recommend writing with the cap on. We receive the fountain pen in an elegant wooden cassette covered with black varnish, additionally ink for the fountain pen is included. The price is high but the pen is worth it because for this price we get a gold nib, a piston filling mechanism, a silver body covered with varnish.

To really appreciate this marvellous pen, one has to hold it in the own hand. Solid sterling silver body and a cap both decorated with refined guilloche, nice ornated silver sterling bands and the clip and the beautiful red lacquer revealing sparkling patterns of the guilloche when hit by the sunlight, More than a year of using this pen was a pure joy, hassle free experience. The stub nib works as expected with a subtle feedback providing nice line variation. Flawless piston filler gives a lot of ink. Of course due to solid sterling silver expect this pen to be on heavy side. This was my first Aurora pen and I am so impressed that I am on a way to buy another Aurora gem - Internazionale - to start my Aurora collection.
