Must have starter Fountainpen

The Platinum Preppy/ Meteor/ Plasir all make use of the same nib type system. the only differences are within the penbody, Preppy looks like a cheap rollerball, Meteor is the most stylish of the 3, Plasir is metal body.
I haad the F-Nib already and it also goes for the medium nib that it is a buttersmooth writer, wet writer but with PB ink (Platinum Black) I felt like I needed to put a little bit more pressure on the M-nib to get it writing. Preppy looks lame for a Fountainpen but could do with mminimaliastic branding to keep it even more under the radar.

Great with F nib. One of best entry level pens. Great to have collection with different nibs or colours to match inks iside.

Writes like butter!
It ain't the prettiest pen, but for its price it has a lot to offer
- Great starter for those on the fence about fountain pens
- Cheap ginnea pig for difficult inks
- Safe to have as a pen in uncontrolled areas. At work as a teacher for example.
- Easy to have on the side for "accent" colors or to add notes in bigger texts

All in all its a lovely pen which you can't really have enough of.

The medium nib is surprisingly a wet writer compare to the F nib of my other Preppy. It's a perfect EDC pen due to its price point and weight. The seal system keeps the nib wet even its unused for a while. Overall I'm happy with this purchase!
