For £1.50 why wouldn't you want one?

Love your Platinum cartridge fountain pen, but prefer coloured inks from Diamine, Herbin or Pelikan? Then you need this handy converter! For little more than £1, why wouldn't you want the flexibility to use any Standard International ink cartridge?

Useful product

Allows you to use a standard international cartridge in a Platinum Preppy, Prefounte and reportedly other Platinums. Also handy for cleaning if you use a syringe with a modified international cartridge to flush the nib unit.

The adapter sits snuggle in both the Preppy and Prefounte and will require good tweezers or small needle nose pliers to remove it from the pen.

I have used it on an EF Preppy and on a couple inks had some flow issues but not with others. The Preppy EF is dry to begin with so you might notice flow issues with drier inks.

Great adapter

Made of elastic plastic makes good seal around pen and cartridge. May be hard to remove without tweezers - in Preppy and Plaisir is sits very deeply. in Curidas it is very easy. Arrived to me without cartridge shown on photo.

Must for Platinum Pen

I love Platinum pen, which has very fine nib for writing Japanese complex character, but I don't like the pen requires Platinum unique size cartridge/converter. I know this converter is great to use European size cartridge with Platinum pen and have looked for in stores in Japan but I found Platinum has stopped to sell and not available in Japan... Now I'm very happy that I found this item here! I also thank for nice shipping of this store!

The converter is better

It is not a super snug fit on my Platinum 3776. I ended up using a converter.

Game changer

Platinum converter is too long for my obsolete Preppy.
I was almost giving up but this adapter with KAWECO mini piston converter made the impossible possible.
Perfect game changer!

Very practical extra for my Nakaya Collection

I actually use my Nakayas. Thislittle addon greatly enhances the versatility of pen use. It works on any international ink cartridge and can actually even convert a converter to meet Nakayas requirements!

Just what I wanted!
